Steve Sekaziga is a Rwandan diaspora who went to Canada when he was only five years.
His art name is Kazi. Each and everyone has a story about how and when they started doing music or what made them being artists. Kazi finds music as where he will express his feelings.
Five years ago Kazi started doing music professionally. He is not only a musician but also a financial analyst at the treasury board of the government of Canada.
This shows how understanding about music has gone to another level.
Kazi is a multifarious artist like other people he was scared to try something new but when he tried, it ended up worked.
Now he is seeing the fruits of his labor.
Kazi believed in himself, he didn't listen to all negativity that comes across, from the path he chose of doing music and seemingly he's doing great.
But as an upcoming artist, he's facing challenges such as "continuously marketing himself because there's a lot of music out there and great artists".\

Kazi has met with Rick Ross and he appreciated his music. They met in Dubai and he was so excited to meet the worldwide star.
"Music is not something that is forced and to be an artist you need to be creative. Persistency and resilience is another thing because it’s not easy being an artist. There is a lot of preconceived notions of an artist like people get judged for being an artist".Kazi said.
Upcoming artists are always underestimated because they are not big. Sometimes people look at them and wonder why they are doing music!?
But what motivates him to work hard? Music is his passion he doesn't care what people will say or think. He is striving to achieve his dreams.
Kazi has collaborated with Rwandan artists such as Kinyatrap king a.k.a the Landlord B-Threy and he wants to collaborate with female artists like Butera Knowless and Marina.

His experience in Rwanda has been very positive whenever he comes back, they are so many changes. He is very impressed by the progress. They are places he goes and thinks he is in California.
Kazi is an unbelievable artist, He can sing, rap, and do the production.
